According to NASA, Comet R3 Pan STARRS has been traveling in the solar system since September, and is now visible in the morning sky, about two hours before sunrise.  

NASA says Comet R3 PanSTARRS will be closest to the sun on April 19 and on April 26, will be 45.5 million miles from our planet, and pass between Earth and the sun at the same time. 

What you can do:

Space.com says the best way to view the comet is with binoculars or a telescope and scan the eastern sky two hours before the sun rises.
