Lidl issued a recall for a lot of its spice mix because it may be potentially contaminated with salmonella.
Food and Drug Administration officials in a recall notice said the product was distributed between June 24, 2026, and Aug. 8, 2026, to Lidl stores in Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Food and Drug Administration officials said so far, no illnesses have been reported related to the spice mix.

Consumers are urged to throw away or return the recalled product to their local Lidl store for a full refund (a receipt is not required for return).
