Costco recalls meatloaf meal kit sold in 26 states over possible salmonella contamination

Costco is recalling its ready-to-eat meatloaf meal kit, with the company announcing that an ingredient in the meatloaf may be contaminated with salmonella.

In a recent recall notice, Costo said the affected product is the Meatloaf with Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Glaze products labeled with Sell By Dates between 03/05/2026 and 03/16/2026 sold at multiple Costco locations.

The company noted that consumers may have purchased the items between March 2 and March 13.

The company added that no injuries or illnesses have been reported from consuming the product. Salmonella is a group of bacteria that can cause severe and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or older individuals, and other people with weakened immune systems.
