US launches new strikes in Iran over downed helicopter

The U.S. military struck Iranian targets early Thursday morning in response to the downing of one of its Apache helicopters. Navy and Air Force jets targeted Iranian air defense, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. Central Command said.
