New blow for Dems as SCOTUS rejects VA map

We are learning more after the Supreme Court on Friday rejected Virginia's bid to restore a congressional map that would have favored Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections. This comes as the justices have also sided with Republicans in Alabama and Louisiana who have hoped to redo their congressional maps to produce more GOP-leaning seats following the court’s voting rights decision.
