BREAKING: Todd Blanche confirmed as attorney general

Todd Blanche has officially been confirmed at the U.S. attorney general. The Senate confirmed Blanche in an early morning session on Saturday by a narrow margin on 50-49. Only two republican senators opposed his confirmation including Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. Blanche has been leading the Department of Justice since the ousting of President Trump's first attorney general Pam Bondi.
