What we know about rare pneumonic plague death

We are learning more this week after reports that now indicate that a possible case of pneumonic plague in Russia presents a "very low" risk outside the country. This according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The new reporting comes as investigators look into what caused the death from pneumonia of a lab employee there last week.
