Spencer Pratt surging in Los Angeles mayoral race

The Los Angeles mayoral primary election will be held on June 2, and the top-two vote getters will advance to the November general election unless one candidate receives more than 50 percent of the vote. Reality TV star Spencer Pratt has surged since announcing his candidacy in January, and Professor Douglas Becker of the University of Southern California has the latest on him, Mayor Karen Bass and Nithya Raman.
