US takes action against overseas collective

The US State Department appears to be taking new action against an overseas collective accused of providing online services to extremist groups. Officials say the group provided secure communications and web-hosting tools used by groups ranging from Portland’s Rose City Antifa to organizations connected to Hamas and Iran’s IRGC. State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott joined LiveNOW’s Josh Breslow to discuss it.
