Tropical storm Bertha makes landfall in Louisiana

Tropical Storm Bertha continues to move westward across southeastern Louisiana, with forecasters expecting the storm to pick up speed over the next day. According to the National Hurricane Center, Bertha is forecast to maintain tropical storm strength until reaching the upper Texas coast on Thursday before weakening and dissipating over inland Texas by Thursday night or Friday.
