Jack Smith hit with criminal referral from Rep. Jordan

We are learning more this week as former special counsel Jack Smith is maintaining his innocence after House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan referred Smith to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for potential criminal charges. The Republican from Ohio has accused Smith of lying while under oath during a deposition before his House GOP-led panel in late 2025.
