Rev. Al Sharpton stands with striking NYC nurses

We are learning more as Rev. Al Sharpton stands with striking New York City nurses on Martin Luther King Day. Rev. Sharpton was joined by the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) where he celebrated King’s legacy while speaking about the ongoing nurse’s strike. The event was held just outside Mount Sinai Morningside in New York. This comes as New York City’s largest nurses strike in history entered another day, with no agreement reached despite renewed negotiations and federal mediation.
