Cubans react as former leader Raúl Castro indicted
LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall is learning about some of the legal ramifications that are likely to follow the Department of Justice’s indictment of Cuba’s former leader, Raúl Castro. The indictment comes on the day recognized as Cuba's independence day, and is in connection with the deaths of four people killed in 1996 when two planes were shot down off the coast of the island nation. LiveNOW is also speaking with retired Marine Corps intelligence officer and strategic risk assessment professional, Hal Kempfer, as the indictment is expected to elevate tensions between the U.S. and the communist-led nation.
