Ex-Olympian indicted over Reflecting Pool vandalism
We are learning more this week as a former U.S. Olympic athlete was indicted by a federal grand jury on a felony charge of destruction of property. According to federal prosecutors, this comes after an incident at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool last month. David Hearn, a former Olympic canoeist, is accused of tearing up a section of the pool’s sealant on June 19.
