Sheriff: Officer dead after Las Vegas police shooting

We are now learning, according to local reporting, that a Las Vegas police officer as well as a suspect have been pronounced dead after a shooting took place Tuesday afternoon this week. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department say that the incident stemmed from a phone call regarding a person with a firearm inside a business. Reports indicate that police officers and drones were dispatched to the area after the initial call.
