Federal Reserve leaves interest rates unchanged

On Wednesday, Fed Chair Jerome Powell wrapped up his final news conference, speaking about the central bank’s independence and his role at the Fed moving forward following his final meeting as chair.  The Federal Reserve announced it will leave interest rates unchanged amid concerns about inflation rising further amid the war in Iran.
