Heat dome scorches the Intermountain West states

Moving from the East now onto the West, dangerously high temperatures in the triple digits are scorching Intermountain states at an alarming rate. The scorching heat is expected to overtake the area this weekend before reaching the Northern and Upper Midwest Plains next week.
