Airlines offer relief to stranded Spirit fliers

We learned this weekend that Spirit Airlines is going out of business after 34 years of offering discounted fares to their customers. LiveNOW’s Shawna Khalafi is speaking with aviation reporter Oriana Pawlyk from POLITICO as we learn more from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. At a press conference Saturday, Secretary Duffy said airlines were reportedly stepping up to offer open seats to Spirit Airlines employees who may be trying to get home.
