State primary underway in TN as new district makes debut

Thursday, a new Tennessee congressional district that carved up a majority Black district in Memphis makes its electoral debut in the state's primary. State Rep. Justin Pearson is vying for the Democratic nomination for the state's 9th Congressional District seat.
