CBP shooting escalates DHS funding feud, shutdown risk

A chance for a partial government shutdown grows larger by the day as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer threatens that Democrats will vote against a federal spending bill set to get a vote this week. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously said that all the bills wrapped into the spending package are the product of bipartisan negotiations between the House and Senate.
