U.S. strikes Iran for 8th consecutive night

Breaking: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on X that the United States began launching a new round of airstrikes against Iran at 6 p.m. ET, marking the eighth consecutive night of strikes. According to CENTCOM, the strikes are intended to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and to punish Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces following the attack that killed American service members in Jordan.
