Trump taps housing regulator Bill Pulte for acting DNI
We learned this week that President Donald Trump is appointing Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William "Bill" Pulte to serve as acting director of national intelligence to replace Tulsi Gabbard. However, President Trump clarified at the White House on Thursday that Pulte will not be appointed to that position permanently. Pulte is set to fill the role left by former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. This comes after she announced her resignation last month. LiveNOW’s Anna Marsick is learning more about Trump’s decision with reporter Josh Boak who covers the White House and economic policy for The Associated Press.
