US forces launch 'self-defense' strikes on Iran
We are now learning that the United States military has reportedly begun strikes against Iran following the crash of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter off the coast of Oman. U.S. Central Command said in a social media post that the strikes would be "a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression." This comes as President Donald Trump previously vowed that the United States would respond to the downing of the helicopter.
