Iran fires missiles at Israel, IDF retaliates

Early Monday morning, Israel and Iran traded strikes threatening ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran to end the war which has now gone on for more than 100 days. Houthi rebels also fired strikes at Israel while Iran closed the airspace around Tehran’s International Airport. In a social media post on X, the Israel Defense Forces stated in part, "Recently, defense systems were deployed across Iran to restore the regime’s capabilities degraded during Operation Roaring Lion. The strike led to the dismantling of these systems."
