Parasitic illness spreads across multiple states
We're hearing reports from Michigan and at least two dozen other states of increasing cases of cyclosporiasis, a foodborne illness caused by a parasite that can contaminate fresh produce. The infection can cause severe, prolonged, and sometimes explosive diarrhea.
