Florida edges closer to eliminating property taxes

Reporting indicates that the current measure faces an uncertain future in the Florida Senate. According to our partners at FOX 35 Orlando, the proposal follows months of study by a select committee formed at the end of the 2025 session. The panel produced eight proposals last fall, three of which advanced to the House floor.
