Federal judge restricts ICE agents amid MN protests
National security analyst Hal Kempfer joins LiveNOW's Austin Westfall to discuss a new court ruling in Minnesota that limits how federal immigration agents can deal with protesters. Agents are barred from retaliating peaceful protesters. The court order says chemical irritants and other crowd-dispersal tools, as well as performing stops and detentions, are not allowed without proper legal justification. This comes as Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has mobilized the National Guard to be ready to assist law enforcement as major protests continue in wake of the deadly shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent.
