Andrew Cuomo resigns as governor of New York

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his resignation amid numerous allegations of sexual harassment against him. Cuomo said the resignation will be effective. The resignation will be effective in 14 days. Kathy Hochul, the lieutenant governor, will become the next governor.
