Twist in Mollie Tibbetts murder delays sentencing of convicted killer

Lawyers for Cristhian Bahena Rivera, who was convicted of first-degree murder in the death of University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts, have been granted a delay in Rivera's sentencing hearing after presenting new evidence that they say shows Rivera is innocent. The judge granted the delay to give Rivera's attorneys more time to gather evidence as part of their motion for a new trial.
