Officials give update on Brown University shooting

On Wednesday, Providence police provided the media with an update regarding the mass shooting at Brown University on December 13, 2025. Officials say they are looking for an individual who was believed to be "in proximity" to the person of interest being sought in connection with the deadly shooting.
