MN lawmaker shootings: Suspect facing federal charges

The suspect accused of shooting two Minnesota state lawmakers early Saturday morning is now facing federal charges, according to an update from the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Vance Boelter, 57, is set to make his first court appearance Monday afternoon for the assassination of Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, as well as the shooting of Sen. John Hoffman and his wife. Boelter is facing federal counts of murder, attempted murder, and stalking.
