Nearly half of Education Dept. to be 'eliminated'

Department of Education staff are slated to receive "reduction in force" notices Tuesday ahead of nearly half of its staff getting terminated, Fox News Digital learned. Earlier in the day, a memo was sent to all Education Department employees informing them that DOE offices will be closed Tuesday evening through Wednesday due to "security reasons."
