Democrat attorney's general speak on DOGE lawsuit

Attorneys general from 14 states challenged the authority of billionaire Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency to access sensitive government data and exercise ?virtually unchecked power? in a lawsuit filed Thursday. One of the attorney's, Letitia James, held a press conference on Friday where she slammed Elon Musk. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., says the actions taken by Musk at the helm of DOGE can only be taken by a nominated and Senate-confirmed official. It sites constitutional provisions that delineate the powers of Congress and the president.
