Oak Park police officer shot, killed in line of duty

Oak Park Police Detective Allan Reddins was shot and killed Friday morning while responding to a call about a man with a gun leaving a Chase Bank in Oak Park. The suspect, who was also shot and wounded, was taken into custody and is being treated at a hospital; his identity has not been released.
