Why the world is outraged over Venezuelan election

The coalition in opposition to Venezuela's current government, led by Maria Corina Machado, announced it gathered more than two-thirds of vote tally sheets from polling centers nationwide, and says they show President Nicol?s Maduro lost his reelection bid. The tally sheets have long been considered the ultimate proof of election results in Venezuela. Opposition members knew they had to obtain as many of them as possible to provide evidence and refute what they expected authorities to announce: false election results.
