12th amendment could influence Trump's VP pick

The race to determine who will be Donald Trump's running mate this November is in full swing but a rare constitutional amendment could impact who he selects. While the 12th Amendment does not ban a candidate from selecting a running mate from the same state, it does bar electors from voting for a president and vice president residing in the same state.
