Columbia University cancels graduation ceremony

Columbia University announced Monday that the school is canceling their university-wide graduation ceremony. Instead the university will focus on smaller-scale school based celebrations for students and their families. The news comes amid Gaza war protests that ended in hundreds of arrests. NYPD revealed nearly half of the protesters arrested were not students.
