Fighting in Gaza continues as student protests erupt

Students across the United States are demonstrating at an increasing number of college campuses. The uptick in protests follows last week's arrest of more than 100 demonstrators at Columbia University. Meanwhile, an under-construction pier for a U.S.-led humanitarian project came under fire on Wednesday, forcing those on-site to take shelter. Nobody was hurt, and no militant group has immediately claimed the attack. The pier will eventually facilitate aid drops to Gaza.
