'Night of broken glass' remembered 85 years later

"On October 7, 2023, we witnessed the horrors of Hamas terrorist attack in Israel and the resulting war, with the terrible loss of life," said holocaust survivor Ella Mandal. "Since then, we have seen an unprecedented outpouring of Anti-Semitic raging.... We write this letter now because today marks 85th years, since Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass. On November 9, 39, 1939, the Nazi regime murdered Jews and attacked Jewish life."
