What's causing waves in Southern Calif. to glow?

Bioluminescent waves are lighting up the Southern California coast. Known scientifically as "lingulodinium polydra," the bioluminescent algae was first spotted in San Diego and parts of Orange County. LiveNOW's Andrew Craft spoke about the science behind the bioluminescent waves with Dr. Drew Lucas from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego.
