Murdaugh's attorneys file motion for new trial

The lawyers representing Alex Murdaugh filed for a new trial on Tuesday, alleging the court clerk tampered with jurors. Murdaugh was sentenced to two life terms for gunning down his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and his son, Paul Murdaugh in June of 2021.
