Maui emergency director Herman Andaya resigns

Herman Andaya, Maui’s emergency services director, has resigned amid criticism for not using sirens to alert residents, according to the Associated Press. Maui Mayor Richard Bissen made the announcement, citing “health reasons” as the reason for Andaya's resignation. The resignation comes over a week after the wildfires started. At least 111 people – including children have been killed by the fire. Officials expect the death toll to continue to rise as search teams look in more areas. More LiveNOW from FOX streaming video
