Idaho Murders: Police are 'keeping information safe,' don't want to 'compromise' investigation

“We do have a lot of information. We are specifically keeping that information safe,” Moscow Police Department Captain Roger Lanier said on Dec. 12, 2022. This comes just days after police in Moscow, Idaho issued a warning about 'criminal charges' for people who spread misinformation about the quadruple homicide on the University of Idaho's campus. It also comes after Steven Goncalves, Kaylee's father told Fox News Digital details that have yet to be officially released. Moscow Police say Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20, were killed in an off-campus house on King Road between 3 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 13.
