Parkland judge moved by victim's emotional statement: 'You're a hero'

Parkland Judge Elizabeth Scherer gave encouraging words of support to one victim family member who gave an emotional speech during Nikolas Cruz's sentencing for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting. Inez Hixon, who was stationed oversees during the shooting, referred to herself as a coward for not speaking before the sentencing. Judge Scherer said the court was moved by her speech and told her that she's a hero.
