5 people were killed, including an off-duty officer, and 2 more people were injured during a shooting spree in Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh Police said a white, juvenile male suspect was taken into custody. His identity and age were not released. Authorities have said the suspect began shooting along a walking trail in a residential area northeast of downtown. Officers eventually contained the suspect in a residence before arresting him sometime before 10 p.m., authorities said. The suspect’s identity and motive weren’t released by investigators.
