Ivanka Trump Jan. 6 testimony contradicted by her own chief of staff

Ivanka Trump, during videotaped testimony with the Jan. 6 House committee investigating the Capitol riot, was asked about going to the rally because she hoped to calm the president and keep the event on an even keel. Ivanka Trump called the claim inaccurate, but her own chief of staff told the committee that Ivanka Trump told her that President Trump was angry and upset and she felt like she might be able to calm the situation down before he went on stage.
