Supreme Court nominee called Bush, Rumsfeld 'war criminals,' senator says

Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson faced questions for a second day from the Senate Judiciary Committee weighing her candidacy for the high court. Republican Sen. John Cornyn asked Brown Jackson about comments she made in a prior legal brief that referred to President George W. Bush and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld as "war criminals." The judge did not recall making the statement, which was part of a legal brief in her defense of a member of the Taliban while she was a federal public defender.
