Several dead after Iowa tornadoes rip through state, officials confirm

A series of tornadic supercells raced across Iowa on Saturday, killing multiple people and producing EF-3 damage, officials said. The hardest-hit area was Madison County, outside of Des Moines, and 52 homes were damaged in the state.
