Sidney Poitier dead at 94

Oscar-winning actor Sidney Poitier has died at the age of 94, officials in the Bahamas confirmed. Poitier, who won the Academy Award for 1963's "Lillies of the Field," received critical acclaim for several films throughout his career, including "Porgy and Bess," "A Raisin in the Sun" and "A Patch of Blue." He also starred in "Guess Who?s Coming to Dinner,? a landmark 1967 film that was the first mainstream movie to support interracial marriage.
