Dallas police say they responded to a shooting call around 1 p.m. There are several emergency vehicles in the 5500 block of Langdon Road, which is where the high school is located. Images from SKY 4 show a heavy police response at the school with numerous ambulance vehicles.

Rachel Morin: Migrant found guilty of murder, rape

A jury on Monday found the man charged with murdering Maryland mother Rachel Morin guilty. Victor Martinez-Hernandez was convicted on several charges including premeditated murder and first-degree rape. Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five, was jogging in a community northeast of Baltimore, when Martinez-Hernandez ambushed, strangled and beat her to death, authorities said.

Police said Sunday that officers evacuated Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family from the official governor?s residence after someone set fire to the building. No one was injured and the fire was extinguished, according to authorities. The fire broke out overnight on the first night of the Jewish holiday of Passover, which Shapiro and his family had celebrated at the governor?s official residence in the state capital of Harrisburg. Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement that, while the investigation was ongoing, they were ?prepared to say at this time that this was an act of arson.?
